Grantly remembers how to use a flash!

Hi Everyone! I've got some very exciting news! Yesterday I used my off camera flash! It had been some time since I last used it, but I knew right away that I was going to use it when I was sent out into the woods to shoot a picture of a trail marker that is marked by GPS.

You see, earlier in the week I was on sportsshooter.com when a photographer who's work I frequently visit updated. In this update was a photo shot for The New York Times of chaparral wood recently burned this past fire season in San Diego. Incidentally the inherently dry wood was centuries old and had never been burned which means it basically exploded into flame at what some might consider a low temperature for fire to start at. Anyway, long story short, he exposed for the sky and popped a little flash in off camera giving some beatiful contrast. GREAT IDEA! WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT?!

So here is the picture, I'm also putting up a picture of our Governor because he's just a little guy with a lot of big things to say. He's a Democrat but he's not bad. HAHA

Oh yeah and maybe a basketball picture as well.....What?...I was busy yesterday.

19 and HELL NO.

Looks like the "Perfect Season" ended not so perfectly. Last night the world came crashing down for a lot of people here. I've also come to realize that I'm in the wrong business. I need to start selling Patriots jersey's. At $75 dollars a piece and mostly the entire Northeast being a collective fan, someone is making out like a bandit.

Here are some photos. Deadline kept me away from fans at the end of the game. Sorry for no dejection.

Confined to the kitchen by a superstitious gathering of friends, Randy "Zip" Pierce and his service dog Quinn sit on the floor until he's allowed back into the living room. Pierce, blind since his early twenties has been named by the Patriots "Fan of the Year" in 2001 and was inducted into the World Football Hall of Fame as the "Ultimate Patriots Fan".

Nifty things.

So long time no post I guess. There's much afoot here in Nashua. I moved into a new apartment, it's snowed, its hailed, it's sleeted and rained. All of this and I won't even mention the Patriots fans. I won't bore you with nonsensical banter since that is usually what I place in this white text box. So until next time.... Enjoy some recent stuff.
