The poll is closed...it's a tie.

I've decided to go with showing a few from my time with Marissa and Raymond. This is a project I'm passionate about and have incredible access to. So, as Melissa said best, here are
some of my "doodles".

Can a couple of 18 year olds make it through the birth of a child and remain together? Technically, that's not correct anymore, Marrissa just turned 19, last Friday. All the same, this story is going to follow these two young people through the last trimester and into the first three months of the babies life. There will be a time where a physical, emotional, and visual change will occur...the second the baby is born.

This is the first night I photographed them. The guy in black is Marrissa's kid brother and the one in the white is the father of the child, Raymond. Raymond is going to be a Freshman at Daniel Webster College this Fall on a full basketball scholarship. His team will start playing games right around the time Marrissa is due which could make some interesting visuals. He also works at Circuit City.

Marrissa works full time and goes to Nashua Community College.

This project will recount the changes they go through as people as well as the beginning of a new life.

Stay tuned.

Raymond kisses Marrissa on his way to a party with her younger brother.
